    Default Glencoe

A few pics from a trip to Glencoe a couple of weeks ago. For once, we were blessed with good weather, hardly got wet at all (other than ascending in heat and humidity !) and good views on most munros.

Managed to get up 17 munros over the week.

Yes, made the most of the good weather after a few years of poor weather for the summer trip. A few late finishes but always time at the end for a good eat and a bottle or two of Cairngorm Tradewinds or Orkney Dark Island !

It was actually 16 in 6 days in the Glencoe area, the 17th was a quick travel day munro (Ben Chonzie).

Chonzie possibly my least favorite to date! Just a little featureless after the peaks and crags of glencoe, but got to be done

Selected after careful studying of the weather and something practical to fit in on a travel day. Worked well though, good weather and sun whilst further West rain and cloud.

Not spectacular but the views on the way back down were quite nice.
