    Default Another Tyne Springer

    image-jpeg

Got my first springer today on our beat on the upper main Tyne. A beautiful full girth fish at 22lb. Took a home tied Willie Gunn tube fly, put up one hell of a fight and took off like a torpedo when released. Pleased another member, Andy Hudson was there to net it. It actually bent the handle on his net.
Took some scale samples to send off to EA.
