    Default It's a hard life being a border !

And no he didnt catch anything....... and nor did I !
    Nice day out though !

Nice dog and nice photos, i wish my beardie would be well behaved enough to come fishing with me, even if he was allowed he would be either barking for me to through the ball or swimming right through the lies.

Does your boarder just sit on the bank and watch you fish?

Great dogs! The one in the pictures is also 8 years old . He is good company and is happy to sit and watch while I fish. As long as he can see me he is happy.
Big contrast to when he was a puppy and ended up in the river twice being chased by my other border !
This one also insists on going to the pub when I bring him away !

I met my first border terrier on the beach at Seamill ,Ardrosan .
He came up to me out of the blue looking for a pal .
I spent half an hour throwing a stick for the dog into and across rock pools before the owner came looking for him , i will never forget the dogs personality .
they are wee crackers , i love them
    When in doubt...exaggerate !!

Yes they are ! They might be small but they are 'proper' dogs.
This one has just woken up and wants to play catch with his tennis ball !

February , I have decided as I do every year is way too early for fishing the Till and the lower Tweed. Yes I know that the Till gets an early run of Sea Trout but they have always eluded me.
So it was a long walk in the hills and up an extremely windy Humbleton Hill where we struggled to stay on our feet.............. followed by a well earned pint on Burt's insistence at his favourite hostelry where they keep a stock of dog treats in the bar !
