    Default More grayling bugs...

    Had a bash at Craig McDonalds "Craigs Killers" for the grayling

    Original colours in 14/16 Dohuki hooks with tungsten jig backs

    Beautifully tied.....is there a video showing just how to tie these.......

    I've not found a video Torrish
    They are a little fiddly

    Glue the jig back to the hook
    Tie in the coq de Leon tail
    Catch on 3mm nymph skin and wrap to head.
    (I use nano silk thread)
    Colour as you see fit with sharpies
    Dot some flouro orange on the thorax
    Cover the top half of the skin in solarez thin UV (I also cover the head and orange too)

    Cracking looking bugs.and not seen or heard of the hooks but will get hold of some to try them out.thanks for sharing

    Dohuki hook code is 644 is the model I used.
    Size 14 hooks take the medium tungsten jig back
    Size 16 hooks take the small jig backs
    Online company called tungsten-beads-plus.com is where I sourced the above

    They'll do the job just nicely clydebuilt what varnish did you use for the hot spot? I've done a few pink one's in the past and have had a bit of success with them

    I bought a wee bottle of flouro orange nail polish on eBay Arnold.

    Paintglow UV reactive or sometjing like that bud.
