    Default Replacing gye net mesh

I recently bought an old Sharpes aquarex gye net and I am thinking of changing the mesh to a fish friendly knotless version. I see the meshes are widely available. Does anyone know how to do this?

That looks simple. Assuming the net frame detaches from the handle on the sharpes aquarex. Maybe I need to wiggle mine more.

Thanks for all the help sourcing a net bag but as you can see from the OP I already knew that.
Now does anyone know- can I dismantle the net frame on a SHARPES AQUAREX gye net or do I have to stitch it in?

    Default Gye net replacement

I have an old Gye net/frame and recently replaced my net with a rubberised knotless type from Snowbee's I bought the largest size. Seems fine and no more getting hooks in the fabric of the net.

this is the page on ebay:

This you-tube shows how to put the frame and handle back together but really all you need to do is undo a small grub-screw to release the two ends of the frame then pull to get it out of the housing which is attached to the handle / shaft.
