    Default Clyde Intruder

Based on the popular Clyde Raider but tied intruder style, hence the name

Cheers GK, just need to wait awhile for the Clyde to drop to a reasonable level for it to get a trial run. Typically, we opened on Saturday but haven’t been able to get near it - on opening day our guest Gary Scott was casting from half way up the bank, but he still managed to get a line out, bloody professionals 😡😂

It’s been nothing but casting practice for me since 30 Oct either and that day the river saw me off with a rising water full of leaves. There’s been no chance of Grayling in deep fast muddy local water since September and my earliest option for Salmon is..... the River Wye.

    Tight lines

cheers! Fish it with a partridge stinger hook, but remove whilst tying cos they’re razor sharp and I like my fingers 😛

Would that be the “highest level ever recorded this week” Wye?

Same here with the grayling, been poor conditions and not wet a line since end of last salmon season. Still, hopefully conditions improve locally and going to the Tay in March with our wee tying club so there’s always something to look forward to.

Fishing for 60 years and am still trying to understand why I do it, but I love misunderstandings
