    Default Lady Amherst hairwing

A hairwing version of an American classic, the original had an Amherst wing hence the name. I really like these Silver/Grey colour combos and intend to try them in clear water over here.

Nicely dressed Gary. I especially like the counter wrapped rib over the hackle stem.

    It will hunt well!

Thanks Marc glad you liked it..
I always cross rib palmered hackles as I find it makes the fly much more durable.
