    Cctv on Fishing Beats.

I really wouldn't do that! They'll tie you up in knots with the regulations around CCTV use. https://www.gov.uk/data-protection-your-business/using-cctv You'll obviously be using the cameras to monitor what wildlife your fishery is attracting and you found poachers by accident.

You're probably looking at something like a camouflaged trail camera https://www.digitalcameraworld.com/uk/buying-guides/best-trail-cameras

    Opinion Polls

26% of men think they can't beat a house cat? more women than men think they can beat a lion? 8-9% of both sexes think they can beat an elephant? Present you methodology!

Best salmon river in the world?

It's a real shame - understatement - that our famous salmon rivers have no damn fish in them. If they had, they would be the best in the world. To catch salmon I go to Kola. But cheating slightly, the best weeks double-handed fishing I've had was on the Rio Grande, Argentina. I caught sea trout...

    Opinion Polls

It depends on the the subject matter and the purpose of the poll. Some polls are pure marketing.“eight out of ten cat owners say their cats prefer Whiskas cat food”. No point asking people who don't own a cat. Also, as you want a particular answer, you do your best to formulate the questions to...

Does everyone on here fish for trout?

I fly fish. The fish then chose who they catch, though I try to stack the odds one way or another. I caught a 4” dace last week.

    Maxcatch!

A mate of mine bought both the RIO Gold (£90) and the Maxcatch Gold (£12) lines. (The Maxcatch Gold is a direct copy of the RIO Gold). We both reckoned the Maxcatch was the better line. it's a two-tone line to show head length and has loops at both ends. Of course, we don't know yet how long...

    Wading studs

I'd say put the studs where you think they should be, regardless of whether there used to be a stud there. You'll see that the thread on the Supatraks is far wider than on normal screws so it'll be gripping outside any existing holes. But you'll know when you do it

    Wading studs

I bought the pack of twenty, so ten in each. I put four in the heel and six in the toe. Somebody recommended Kold Kutters to me and they're a lot cheaper so I had a look at them too. But they're just large headed screws so they wear down quite fast and occasionally fall out...

    Wading studs

Best I've found by a long way are the ice studs used on car tyres. They're tungsten and have a wide awl-like anchor. They come with a fitting tool. https://supatracks.com/product/find-my-boot-stud/

    wader repairs

Heard mixed reviews of DD. Some love him, some hate him. I can't work out whether the ones that love him have used him recently and wether the ones that hate him haven't. In any case, I consider breathable waders consumable items and only buy cheap now. The last set cost £60 and lasted 3 years...

    wader repairs

I'd never tried the "fill your waders with water" trick but I had seen it done on a video of SIMMS in QA testing, so I reckoned it must work. Anyway, I just tried it, copying their method of supporting the weight of the filled waders with the now patent pending TPT; 'Tangled Patio Test'. Wait...
