    Default Loop S1 13'6" 9wt

Everyone has their own preference, but I have to say I get on fine with them, and have used them in a variety of situations. I'm interested to know what lines you use for the 9wt, in my experience, the recommended GL GDC is 36gr(554grains), I use a 575 rio skagit max and goes well. I think these rods have a reasonable range.

I used a Gaelforce Equalizer shooting head 34g and thought it was a great match. I also used 31g Salmologic heads which were also very good.
I didn't think it had a particularly wide grain window unlike the 13ft 8wt Loop Cross S1 which has. I sold the 13' 6" 9wt and kept the 13ft and have not looked back since.

I use the airflo ultraspey Shooting head kit With loop shooter mono running line. It just tears out with every cast. Mine is the 9140 though.
