Default Various Green Silk Shrimp flies

Having not posed here for some time and having seen Richard's excellent tying of the Green Silk, inspired me to tye a few on various hooks. For comparison the Green Silk tyed on Kamasan B175, Partridge X2B, Salar, Patriot, Ahrex Progressive, Partridge Code P, Loop and Mustad double.

    Quality!!!

Great to see you back posting!

The B175s are a very underrated hook for salmon I find. I absolutely love them and have great success on them during the summer.
One of the best skills that an angler can ever develop is knowing the difference between passing the time and wasting it!
