Default Size 8 Esmond Drury Shrimps

I found these size 8 trebles in the shed so decided to tie a few Irish Shrimps on them.

There are 12 hooks but here are the first 4 I tied:

Gold Bug, Foxford, Kinermoney and Green Silk.

I'll add the others as I get them tied.

I personally think that Irish shrimps look far better tied on trebles, especially the outpoint type.

    Nice tying Jockie

I have to agree that they look better on trebles but they're such a faff to tie on!

Took a page from your book, JS, and expanded to find faults and unfortunately there is one - you really need to sweep the desk below the black box, shocking state😂

Love them all, esp the green silk, beautiful pattern and just as nicely tied👍

Splendid tying Jockiescott yet again. My favourite hook and my favourite style of fly. Id happily fish those all season. My first, 2nd and third ever English Springers were on a size 8 EDs on a similar Irishy pattern so will always get my vote
