It looks like the rain we were to expect tomorrow has edged away slightly so nothing much likely to happen this week.

The odd fish coming in. But very odd fish.

Could be Seamus. It was covered in lice. Like the salmon smolts returning to fresh water? Never seen the likes of it before?

    Default Kylemore rain

Well it did actually rain last night so the river is running at 2'9'' but very dirty. For those eager to fish it should be spot on tomorrow.

    Default Number three!

Just opened an e-mail saying the third fish of the year was landed this evening by Chris. Chris who? I don't know but he will be glorified tomorrow when I get further details.

Well done Geoffrey... there was a fish in Tullywee. Not as big as you said but well done Chris... your first Salmon ever at 5lb.

I'll post a photo later when it's available.

I want to advise anybody seeking an audience with the PFM at his 'lie' that the rules for entering and exiting the 'lie' have changed. I discovered this to my horror when I made a impromptu visit to him over the weekend. I found the attached notice on a tree at the entrance img_0244-jpg
In my opinion this is a step too far.
