    Just checked the IFI website. It was caught on the liffey all rite. Its only open for a day. Well done

    It only opens for 1 day, Jan 1st, as a concession to Dublin Salmon Anglers. C&R & any fish caught have scale samples taken for research.

    There is some interesting information on the first catch of the season on the Inland Fisheries Ireland website this evening.
    And some general and heartening news about salmon in Ireland.
