I'm glad I've settled with just the two dugs for now!

Otherwise I feel I'd be reaching for my wallet for a nice b.itch.....!

How many do you expect? And what would be your preferred ratio of Bіtches to Dogs.

Will you keep one bіtch for future breeding?

6-8 would be nice and all *****es only because I want one or two to keep back and *****es are easier to find homes for.Not that it will happen that way of course because she'lll probably have 3 dogs

How is it you could write the word for a female dog in your post but I cant??

I've three cockers, which is plenty, if it was down to me I'd have another springer and work them twice a week...... but it's not and I can't.

Best of luck they sound like they will be excellent dogs.

Are you Grouse shooting Paul?? A lot of the N.Yorkshire moors have packed up by mid Nov. There won't be many if any that go right through to the 10th of December. They're normally well on with burning by then if it's dry enough.

Hope you have a good dry but windy day Paul, its a cracking moor to shoot and as all grouse days - the views are spectacular and grouse in december are the best of all - they absolutely fizzzz through the line.
Are you staying local to Reeth? drop me a pm.
I have a pal who picks up on that moor among others - I will find out how its shooting this season.

    Simon and Tyke

I'm going with John and Louise Baltesz,( nee Nickerson, owners of Reeth), on one of their family days. A very relaxed grouse day, but it is double guns so the birds can't be that scarce!!

Looking forward to it, if only for the scenery!! We are all staying at The Punch Bowl in Reeth.
