    Default which RIO AFS line for 14ft 6in sintrix

    has anyone used a RIO AFS versitip on a Hardy zenith 14-6 #10 ? if so, what weight AFS and how did it perform ?

    Not an Afs, but the 9/10 Dtx G2 speyline was the pick of the bunch of speylines on it I found.

    AFS 9/10 and 10/11 both fly out - just depends how much you like to put into casting

    9/10 or 10/11 afs but the mackenzie g2 9/10 shooting head is the business

    Had this rod . 10/11 for AFS ( 42 gram) , Guidline triple D's 44 gram ones. G2 shooting head in either 42 or 44 gram.

    thanks for the replies...

    Doonrod.. you say you "had" this rod.. didn't you like it? i tried one on the casting pool at sportfish last year and thought it was amazing. Would be interested in how other sintrix owners rate it. i'm now thinking of replacing the Exceed with this rod.. not sure of weight differences but that could be an issue, though i can't think there will be much in it.

    I have "had" every rod Not many I didnt like to be honest as there aint many bad rods out there nowadays. Sintrix was something special though.
