I had a decent Spring but the last few trips have been hard going although I did lose two fish at Park a couple of weeks ago. The paucity of grilse coming off the tide when we fished the North Esk last week was a bit depressing but hopefully its another late year and the numbers will start to build up from now on in. Just whan I am heading off abroad on vacation

Only had the 1 salmon so far this year but it was a sea liced spinger off the Ribble which is a big big prize in my book. Our season doesnt really start until the back end so i am confident I will add to my tally before the season ends.

Fishing has slowed in July Just above my 5-year average for this point in the season with 15. As Splash mentioned above, the N Esk's late grilse run has been disappointing.
