Cloudveil are high end wading jacket here in Canada. They sell for over $400 in stores and a fishing buddy of mine uses one which he is very pleased with. Im not sure of the model he has but the company have a good name from what ive heard.

I am nearly positive Cloudveil's fishing line went kaput. Id be hesitant to purchase any of the stuff until I was certain the fishing portion of the company was still opperating (unless you are getting one heck of a deal) as I know a person who was told he would be unable to have a pair of his waders repaired that failed at the seams (and he was unhappy with the purchase to begin with).

Think that you are correct! A certain firm tends to buy such stock but sells it at a fair price.

Clkoudveil is best known for top-end skiing wear and is certainly keeping going. They extended into fishing top-end stuff afew years ago but that market was firmly stitched up by you know who....I have a pair of their 6X waders over the past few years - they are excellent and I much prefer them to the Simms which I have had several pairs of.....the Cloudveil have always kept me dry as the only place water gets in is over the top! If I wanted a jacket I would not hesitate to get one despite them being now no longer made.
