Default Grahams of Inverness Seatrout Special

    Greetings.
Does anyone own the above rod and if so what do you think of it?
I'm looking for a switch rod for the Nairn and really fancy one of these.
Any comments / views would be most welcome.
    regards
    Alan

Hi alan ,I fish the association water on the nairn and I did use the grahams seatrout rod and found it excellent a perfect rod for the size of river ,it went well with a snowbee switch #7 line ,5ft polly tip and 5ft leader ,there were a few larger fish off the nairn this year so might want to consider the grahams grillse/ salmon rod which is the same length but #8/9 line rated perfect for spring and back end .
    Cheers Patrick

    Thanks Patrick.
The Grilse rod was recommended by Sewinfly. I've been muling over to get one or the other. But my missus, (god bless her) thinks that after all I've been through getting a new knee installed and the associated pain I should treat myself to BOTH rods.
Well it just wouldn't be right to argue.......
    Would it.
    Phone call tomorrow.
    best regards
    Alan

I feel left out of this discussion as I fished the association water this year and intend to give it another go next year but I'm not from Aberdeenshire but Staffordshire.

    George.
    Never feel left out Pal.
We are all brothers of the angle, helping each other out with questions and queries, that's what makes this forum so successful.
The Nairn by the way is one of Scotlands secrets, keep it to yourself.
    Regards
    Alan
