Default Fishing 23-29 august Pitlochry area

I have a pal from New Caledonia who is coming to Scotland first time staying in Pitlochry above dates, he has asked me for advice on getting a day or two salmon fishing within reasonable driving distance of Pitlochry, does anyone have contacts I could pass on to him, even recommends that are on fishpal would help, he prefers to fly fish, Thanks.

Upper Tay beats such as Farleyer and Bolfracks will also have some availability.

If you book ahead on Fishpal and get washed off you lose your money, unless you pay the extra insurance. But if you book with Alistair at the hotel you won't lose your money. He's a very reasonable chap and it's a lovely beat.
    Cheers Diarmid.

River Garry if there is some water on , Lower Kinnaird also has some nice casts and should have a few fish lying about. Both are pretty close bye his base.

What you have failed to mention tho is will he have
All his fishing tackle waders and jacket with him as this will add cost to the equation and some beats can't supply
