For someone wishing to book a weeks fishing, the lott for a six day roving ticket on the adaa beats of the river Don which offers approx 20 miles of bank fishing for Salmon,Seatrout, and some of the best Brown trout fishing in the country, with the min bid starting at £60 if you were to fish 10 hours a day that works out at £1 per hour (if you have the stamina you could fish 24/7).With a variety of water that will suit most heights of water and all legal methods allowed (rules apply)fly, spin and worm there is not much of a gamble.
I will even offer my services as a guide(not a ghillie) and show the lucky bidder the beats and give them some pointers.
Remember the proceeds from this auction goes towards research which could benefit all Salmon rivers.

Wouldn't worry Alan, the cracks are showing already.
3 weeks into the season and already the excuses are flowing.
    Grue, seals, bad flees.
    What next?????
His nerves are shot already, I reckon he's there for the taking.
If anyone else wins those flees he'll fall apart and it will all be over before he has a chance to polish the engraving.
