    Is it possible to get the sole replaced on my Simms freestone boots , not the belt sole ones. If so who does them , thx

    Not sure he does boots. I think it is waders only.
    Might be worthwhile taking them to cobblers or failing that Timpsons to get a price for new soles.

    I believe Timpson will do them. They stock Vibram soles - not stream tread but the pattern of grip probably doesn't make much difference. Maybe.

    I had a felt sole come off my snowbee waders, took it to the local heel bar place and stuck it back on, £2.00, still on yet.

    The sole came off my river shed boots. 2 miles from the car.
    Found some nylon string tied to a fence and used that to tie the sole on. Carried on fishing for four hours and walked to car afterwards.
    The grip was impressively enhanced. Think Iíll be using blue telecom string instead of studs in future
