Carbon dioxide's the bogeyman substance that's been well fitted up by developed world politicians and academia as the primary vehicle enabling increasing gov-mandated taxation and subsequent population control. As simple as that. As a possibly valid conjecture - let alone a valid hypothesis - it still awaits any evidence demonstrating CO_2 operates even roughly as predicted across actual real-world physical systems.

Dark days here and ahead for scientific integrity let alone understanding if this b**lshit persists...

Wind power, solar, nuclear, storage, personal efficiency in the use of power.

Low tech solutions to CO2; plant more trees, reduce personal impact on environment when you can....

Science must try to find cleaner, quicker and smarter solutions, but that's only part of the solution.

Regarding the weather, if cold water shuts down or diverts the Gulf Stream we're going to be a damn sight colder....

An eye-opening documentary on the subject of climate change if you've got an hour & 1/2 to kill.

WARNING - Its pretty depressing stuff!

Although that looks likely to change if the profiteering oaf in the white house gets his way!

In your view perhaps. However, I can't get past the first graph, which compares apples and oranges and states:

    That is just not true.

It they said, as scientists should, "proxy guestimates of CO2 concentrations based on wildly speculative methods when compared to real life measurements from the actual atmosphere of today, appear to indicate that CO2 may be higher now than in previous centuries, but there is still a very poor correlation between temperature and CO2 in these proxy guesstimates" it would be given a bit more credence.

We could argue that causation isn't proven but if we apply Hill's criteria the case looks very strong.
