    Default Northern English Rivers

Looking at the Fishinginfo website, I suspect anyone going fishing tomorrow or Saturday may have near ideal river levels and colour.. Tight lines you lucky people!

I'm sure you will manage to get amongst them Davy.

I saw on the Fishermans locker that a lad had a 7lb and 17lb fish from Durham yesterday on the fly.

I'm gutted I'm away at work, the sea's away aswell

    Tight lines,

    Dave

I will be interested to hear reports. Fished the South Tyne all day without one pull. Fish running hard late in the afternoon and not interested in any of my favourite flies. Tail of pools had some resting fish which swirled around and the odd follow but no takers.

I heard of a couple taken on rapalas.

Just checked and not one fish reported yet on FishPal for the Tyne.

    Good luck tomorrow.

South Tyne coloured lower down but better above the Allen junction eg Bardon Mill, and was clearing nicely this pm when fish were showing more and running the rapids, a great sight to watch.

Also fished south Tyne early evening, fish running through my feet at the top of the pools, very nice to see. Not a single pull in 3 hours, I was fishing in perfect water just below haltwhistle.
