    Default Patagonia waders

Mountain factor shop in Ambleside, 2 pair of patagonia waders 250 down from 500. May be worth a ring.

Patagonia make quality waders, my pair have finally Started to show wear and tear after 7-8 years of hard use. Not as stupidly priced as Simms either.

Mine were great for 3 years then started to show signs of wear, now they are rightly f'ed at the end of 4 seasons. Threw 7 tubes of aquasure at them but still no good, time to go again but maybe no Patagonia for me anymore, 220 (max) days fishing for $500+ is too much for waders

I expected more from them as do most folk paying top dollar for waders.

    What next though ?????

    Simm's, no way
Redington, local supplier but tough warranty
Guideline, maybe's if warranty is fair
    Vision, likely, given pal's opinion
    Snowbee, never
Sierra, never ever ever ever again
    Buffalo, maybee's
    Bison, maybe
    Orvis, NO

In short waders are a total rip off disaster but it ain't going to change anytime soon
To one who has roved on the mountains afar
Oh! For the crags that are wild and magestic
The steep frowning glories of dark Lochnagar.

    Bring back Perfectos rubber waders.

Pros: Cheap, non leaking unless you didn't quite make the jump over the barbed wire fence. Easily repaired in minutes on the bank.

Cons: You boiled in them, heavy, and had to use Talc to get into and out of them. They stank of, err rubber!
