Default Two superb fish from today

Headed out in the torrential Devon rain this morning, armed with the Zenith 12ft 6" 7wt. Standing under a large oak next to an unassuming little run, performing a version of the sideways snap t, if there is such a thing? Third cast, wallop. Rod arched over and started to thud, fish stayed put for a few seconds then took off. Came flying out of the water 30yrds down stream, crash, now thats a very good fish. Controlled fight and 12 minutes later she was in the net, estimated weight, 16lb. Poor photo sadly, just unhooked in the net and back to the water quick smart!!

Home for lunch, drip dried myself then out to the lower tidal water. Started to cover the likely taking spot. Line tightened, in again. Lots of hard head thuds, dont like that!! Great fight ensued, 10 minutes later I beached a superb bar of silver, quick picture and off back to the depths. Slightly better image this time thankfully, iro 12lb. Most enjoyable day that!!
