Default Shooting head for Hardy Demon 15ft

I have a Hardy Demon 15ft 10# rod and looking for a suitable shooting head.I fancy the Rio afs heads but can't decide if to go for the 10/11 at 640 grms or 9/10 at 580 grms? Also,if anyone can match up the rod with a suitable mid Spey line it would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

I used the Hardy mach multi spey fly line when I had the Demon 15ft and it worked a treat. I now have upgraded my rod to the Zenith and use the same reel ad line and it works perfectly for me. Then again everyone has a different preference.

Thanks glen Aston, what weight line for the 15ft / 10# ? ( sounds like a stupid question, but that be 9/10 or 10/11 Mach 55 ? I think that the new 55's have 2 weights ie 9/10)
    Thanks for your help.

All Hardy rods can handle an extra line weight. I use the zenith with a 750 gram head no problem so I would use the 10/11 640 gram on the demon.

I use the 9/10 AFS with my 15ft Demon works a treat great line, take some beating the AFS lines tried others but find them so easy to cast.
