    Default Lochy flood.

I wouldn't like to be on the Lochy today, it's showing SIXTEEN feet and rising.

I was up to Inverlochy yesterday and the river was a wall of water rushing to the tide. If you fell into that, you would have nae chance.
    Scary stuff.

This morning, not great shots and it's more impressive on lower stretches. Bottom of black cairn flats is over 300 yards wide!.

I was on the bus coming back down from Skye yesterday and seen most of the floods, was pretty mental all the way down.

    No chance of any fishing..

Please excuse my ignorance but I've never fished the Lochay, it looks very clear for a flood, is that normal?

The lochy does get coloured but not nearly as bad as others. You can fish the lochy when high due to this.
The loch from which a lot of the river comes from and to a lesser the roy/spean dont colour up that much.

    Also runs off very quickly!
