Very, very poor and consequently very disappointing given some nice water conditions..
The fabulous river Deveron saved me from blanking by offering up four salmon.

Messrs Dee, Don and Ythan offered nowt

River coquet 3 salmon 4 sea trout - fished most weeks. Had odd days on tweed, tummel, Tyne and Tay and blanked, I'm still a rookie on the big rivers tho so not really surprised I blanked under poor conditions

Mine was terrible (thats Spanish for 'terrible'). I only had 11 days on salmon rivers, though.

0 for 2 on hookups in Gaspe.
0 for 0 on hookups in Scotland.

Absolutely pigging awful - the worst in 40 years of fishing.

3 March springers, 2 on N Esk and 1 on S Esk - then **** all until a wee coloured grilse on the Westwater in late September.

What I found more worrying was fishing day after day after day and never even see a fish show - they just weren't there

As for days fished - lost count!!

Had two trips to the Dee, 12 days in total.
Conditions were awful, bright sun and no water but didn't do too bad.
8 salmon and 3 sea trout.
