Which do you prefer fishing with?
I like the Marksman but find the real seat really annoying as it only has one nut - No locking nut.

Never give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about.

Was looking for opinions from owners of these rods so if there is a plus or negative side I can form an idea what I will be looking for.

Yes that sounds like an issue this is the information I need but there may be more.

The 11' marksman is a lovely rod, plenty of feel in the blank...too many spinning rods are like sticks these days. You can feel everything going on in the tip, its quite sensitive. The quality of finish is impeccable. The metal reel seat is cold in the hand though, especially if using a multiplier. The only spinning rod id have in place of it would be a new B+W Multispin.

I would recommend keeping the perfection !!
    That's because I have an 11ft marksman and it's brilliant !!
So if the marksman is for sale get in touch and we can do a deal cause I want another one 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
BTW the reel seat on mine is not great it's like the thread is crossed on it and a bit of a pain to get the reel on!! It's been like that forever !!

The perfection is a much tougher rod than the marksman although it is a tad heavier.
