Has anyone fished this recently (I have seen the post from September) and if so how did you get on? What flies, lines, pools worked best?
    thanks

I am sure "POSHTOSH MAN" a member on the forum is your man to ask.
You can get tickets from the Cardrona Hotel

    Default Cardrona hotel fishing

Tickets are available from the Macdonald Cardrona hotel. They also do a discounted "fishing package" with B&B, packed lunch and fishing for (I think) £109 based on two sharing a room.
I look after the beat but have nothing to do with bookings.
Like the majority of Tweed beats, at the moment, it is full of fish but they are not taking well. We have been getting fish but not in the numbers we should be catching given the conditions and numbers of fish.
Hopefully a drop in temp will bring the fish back into taking mode. Then all the standard patterns catch fish and if the water is up a bit and coloured the the posh tosh is my favourite.

    Tight lines
