Default River Ure - Swinton Beat

The latest post on Just One Week is a review of the Swinton Beat, which is located downstream from Masham and less than 25 minutes from Junction 50 on the M1. Day tickets are bookable via FishPal and cost around 30.

I've been deeply resenting the texts from the Ure Salmon Trust this week telling me to go go go to the water as it's perfect. So near. So busy at work. So rusty when it comes to salmon fishing.

Very useful article - nothing worse than going to a new place, and wasting most of the day fishing in the wrong places (as I found when fishing club waters).

Do I take it from that interjection that you're not interested in another invitation to fish Thoresby?

He bought a new guitar today. She's blonde and glossy and I'm now completely redundant. Honeymoon's over...
