    Yep,I've got an invite! Gweb is correct,I walked a few beats with the dogs today and its in fine fettle....gonna be a shade nippy though I fear 😱

    Correct. Work was done on the gauge over the last few weeks (?) and as the river was so high they couldn't zero it properly. Waiting for the river to drop. Source: chap at Fishpal HQ. But the EA site seems ok at Riding Mill, so you can use that.

    Fished for 2 and a half hours today, water temp 1.2 degs, air 2 degs, but water in good nick, a bit high but not too bad. Clear but peat stained. Had a brief pull - probably not a springer he said intelligently (!) - this a little way below Corbridge.
