Thats gutting. What end of the loch were you fishing?
Elements of the past and future combining to make something not quite as good as either.

You don't want rain for cargil you want it to stay low if you get rain the fish will clear out and run right through and i don't want rain on the Tay the level is fine for where i fish.

Me and the Mrs are fishing Cargill on Tuesday. With the low water what size flies would be best fished? I have never fished the Tay when it has been this low so going to be a new experience.

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Cheers

Wouldn't the ghillie be the best source of advice? I expect he will have encountered these conditions in the past.
