Default What hobbies other than fishing do you have?

Just curious what you all do other than fishing/fly tying.

I am sure there will be some other interesting pastimes between you all.

How about a thread showing/telling us what pastimes you do outside fishing.

    Porn does not count

I will kick it off with pics of my other main pastimes

    Nice idea for a thread.

When I was younger, rugby consumed most of my spare time and at some points took up far more time than fishing.

Now the body can't cope with with such punishment.

However, given I get 50+ days a year fishing, with work, there isn't much time left for other hobbies once you consider time spent with dearly beloved (earning the brownie points for the 50+ days fishing).

The thing that has become a hobby is the small holding we've been setting up. Mainly the endeavours of my daughter and her boyfriend, but I get to play at being a farmer (respect to all the farmers out there). Machine repairs, building barns / sheds, general animal husbandry (said daughter and boyfriend are away this weekend so Mrs SC and me are on sheep and horse duties) and I've rediscovered the pleasure of growing vegetables (I can do a fully home produced sunday dinner ).

Still enjoy other activities, but none that could really be described as a hobby.
I think I've got this work life balance thingy right.

That is to say I spend more time in work thinking about fishing than I spend fishing and thinking about work!

    Hobbies I get to do:

Salmon fishing ( not as much as I'd like)
River trout fishing and grayling fishing (ditto)
    Seatrout fishing ( ditto)
Running a little pheasant shoot for my friends ( as I hardly get to shoot - 1 shot this season, but I don't develop murderous intent until December)
    Fly tying

Hobbies I used to do and no longer do (time, kids, work, wife):

    Pike fishing
    Beach casting
Foxing with a rifle and night sight ( twice this year!)
Hill walking ( try persuading a three year old who's too heavy to carry far to walk up a hill)
Oil painting ( A at A level art don't you know.....)

Hobbies I'd like to try but as above excuse:

    Deer stalking
    Wild-fowling

Andy for Christmas I really, really want a Hornby train set ( I'm not allowed one)
