Hi Ozzyian and Jack, Yes i really am in Tasmania, i live in a small town called Wynyard on the North West Coast. Yes and i do use Spey Rods down here for Sea Trout, river and lake Browns Farmed Atlantic Salmon that are released into some of our waters, Australian Salmon off the beaches and in the tidal estuaries, and anything else that cares to take a fly.
My arsenal starts at a 4wt Trout Spey through to a McKenzie DTX 16' and about 10 rods in between, thats just two handed, lost count of the single hand rods 20+. I do travel overseas as often as i can, normally have a trip to NZ each year to fish the Tongariro River and in May this year my wife and i had five weeks in Canada and the US, managed to catch some nice Atlantics in the Miramichi River New Brunswick and caught up with a friend on Vancouver Island, and another in Medford Oregon......So ya see" i have this disease" and its terminal............I also post on the Sea Trout Forum as THYLACINE...regards Bevin
