Oh, late starters then? I normally get to John Norris at 10.40 allowing a good hour to browse and gossip and still get up north in good time. Packing over the weekend and my bags will be by the front door Sunday night. No point leaving to he last minute.

Where are you staying? I'm in a B&B in town.

We're slightly hamstrung on timing, as my fishing buddies are coming across on the ferry from the IOM and it doesn't get in until around 1230, hence the 1pm pilgrimmage to Norris!

We're staying at the Morven Guest House, whilst my Step father is staying for most of the week (but not fishing) at the Kiltearn House in Evanton.

    How about you?

    Oscar.

PS: You can't seriously be packing this weekend??

Really, I've not heard much from them, either on FB or their usual monthly reports. Sounds juicy though!!

I'm staying in the Westmore B&B. Its in the town. No idea what's like, but it's cheap!

Packing for sure. No time like the present

OK, if I'm honest I'm going to the Isle of Lewis before October for a few days so packing will be a while yet.

The river was showing its bones when I drove past on Sunday - lets hope Scotland (both highlands and lowlands) gets a deluge before to long as I am on the Stinchar in 2 weeks time.

After saying that hardly saw a fish today on the lower river but plenty the day before on beat three with a good proportion of fresh fish. The problem is not lack of fish but lack of water. Some fish have been taken in low water proving it can be done but when the rain does arrive someone should have a great week.
