Does it not depend to some extent on the rivers you fish and when?

A big river you will nearly always need a staff and the sturdier the better which probably rules out collapsible ones. But on smaller rivers or summer flows when you don’t need a staff all the time and carrying one is a pain then the Simms or Snowbee might come into their own. I do a lot of walking about and often I don’t take a staff at all (taking some risk) as it’s a pain carrying one whereas if I had a collapsible which is easy to transport then I would use it when needed.

Maybe the lesson is you need both types over a season depending where and when you are fishing.

Bought from my local (Snow and Rock), But i just had look at Google under Leki Rubber Tip there few seem cheaper than what i paid for(£7.99 for pair) but there few shop sell for £2.50ish for one which you all need and good luck.

Plan B ...... put Rubber tip in hot water for few min.
