Default Vancouver Island...very green

Just found out correct spelling. Its Nanaimo. My brother emigrated a few years ago and has invited me over. While it would be nice to see him it would also be nice to fish at a good time.Any information would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Colin(billy fish)

Default Tamar

Well, unlike the Great Isle we can fsih 12 months a year ...although the very best and amazing time would be for most from July through November..Steelhead all year round but you have to work for them. Most of the Rivers are remote by British standards and very difficult in high waters periods. But beach fishing for Salmon occurs from July to Late October, very similar to your Sea Trout methods...but many more fish and much larger tugs on the end of the line..
Your brother is located near Mid Island ...although the fishing there is off simple because of the lack of Beaches...travelling 150 miles on Vancouver Island is quite simple and quick...we have less than a Million People living here...STAY AWAY!!!
Just Kidding....BTW...my wife is a Cockney(no jokes you guys!) unless of course you are all familiar with Bubbles and Squeek!
we have a Fly Shop near here.."nilecreekflyshop.com"...check us out

hope the moderators are cool
