A skinny dipping guest....

As a Ghillie i have had a few hilarious incidents while out with my guests, none more so than on a fine hot summers day in 2008. After an extended lunch and a few bottle's of wine later, it was decided we better put in an hour or 2 before packing up for the day. You could see straight into the water, not a cloud in the sky and the chances of catching were limited to say the least.

Starting in the top pool with one of my guests only a few casts in his polaroids fell from his hat and into aroung 6 feet of water. Running up the bank to grab the net to fish them out, I get called back to be informed that I should go and see how his friend was getting on a few pools further down, he was going to get them himself and that I didn't want to see him naked....! No longer than I had set off, a couple of hundred yards down I turned to see if he was actually going to do it, sure enough, in the buff bold as brass on the bank and straight into the water!

A first for me and hopefully the last, unless I be fortunate to Ghillie for 2 beautiful woman and they can do as they please.....whats the chances!!!!

This is not the story I was expecting. The one I heard involved a female guest. The ghillie was a very happy boy.

I caught a couple in full swing in a field in the early hours once when I was sea trout fishing, don,t think they saw me, well it didn't stop procedings if they did..... I wasn't expecting a full moon that night...

I had an infinitely more pleasing skinny-dipping experience in Norway.

I was fishing in the Stadion Pool (Stadium) on the Gaula. The pool is right beside a football field which sometimes plays host to ladies' matches.

There was one such match being played when I started fishing the pool during a trip four years ago.

There is a strip of tall conifers between the river and the pitch but I could hear the girls shouting to each other.

My buddy, fly-tier Paddy Bonner, had elected to walk on upstream round a big sweeping bend and fish the next pool.

As I was playing the fish I could hear the girls all going into the river 200m above me for a post-match swim. After I had landed the fish and fished out the remainder of the pool I headed upstream, with the fish, to meet Paddy.

As I got close to the girls I realised that they were all skinny-dipping - a dozen blonde super-fit Norwegian girls!

When they saw me carrying the fish five of them came bounding out of the river for a closer look, with only one stopping to collect her towel.

Paddy meanwhile remained totally oblivious to all this as he was around the bend, and no recounting of the story could convey the whole magnitude of what I'd had to endure!

By the time we headed down stream again towards the car the girls were fully dressed and were drying their hair in the sun.

I must do some research and find out if any other Norwegian rivers have pools beside football fields.

we caught a couple at our place here too one night

the brother picked up something white in the night sight, it exhibited a very strange motion

as they got closer they realised it was a white arse going up and down

they didnt stop even when the boys were right beside them

Maybe you should be worrying afterall, the girlies got out to see the fish

Was this before or after your ad for a country squires daughter with fishing and the request to send photographs of fishing

I were night fishing for sea trout one summer, when i were working my way down through the pools. I came across this big house on the river bank with a jetty over hanging the pool i was fishing. I were fishing away when a couple came on to the jetty naked and started going for it with the camaras rolling. The fishing was poor but at least i got some Saturday night live entertainment.
